Bluetree Accounting LLC was founded with a simple mission: bring corporate-level financial structure and discipline to growing small businesses.
We believe small business owners deserve the same financial clarity, reporting systems, and strategic insight typically reserved for larger organizations. Our goal is to implement proven processes, strong internal controls, and proactive planning that help businesses operate efficiently and grow with confidence.
Founded in Texas at the end of 2021, Bluetree began as a solo practice and quickly expanded. In 2022, we began building our team, and in 2023, the firm strengthened its strategic foundation with the addition of a partner with private equity experience.
We are committed to supporting the local small business community and delivering our work with professionalism, accuracy, and pride.

Partner
Patricio Frutos began his accounting career in 2013 at Maxitransfers, where he worked as a Staff Accountant. During his time there, he developed hands-on experience in bank reconciliations, fixed asset management and depreciation, state tax compliance, and operational accounting processes.
Over the years, Patricio expanded his expertise into financial reporting, internal controls, and leadership. In 2023, he transitioned into a Controller role, where he spent two years strengthening his experience in financial oversight, process implementation, and strategic decision support.
At the end of 2025, Patricio committed to leading Bluetree Accounting full-time, focusing on growing the firm and serving clients at a higher level.
His vision for Bluetree is clear:
To bring the structure, discipline, and financial systems learned in corporate environments to small and mid-sized businesses that need them most.
Miguel Peña joined Bluetree Accounting as a partner in 2023. With a strong background in private equity, Miguel brings financial analysis, investment strategy, and performance-driven insight to the firm.
His experience evaluating businesses from an investor’s perspective strengthens Bluetree’s advisory capabilities and supports clients who are focused on growth, scalability, and long-term value creation.
